MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

The Board of Directors and the General Assembly have the right to expel from the Association a member who:

  • Has been convicted of felony or misdemeanor referred to in Articles 50 to 63 of the Criminal Code
  • Acts against the aims of the Association, or affects the dignity befitting the members, or avoids systematically to comply with the decisions of the bodies of the Association
  • Unduly delays financial obligations to the Association for more than one year. 

  • The General Assembly also has the right to expel a member based on any other serious and justified reason.
    A member who has been expelled may be enrolled again after a justified decision of the body (the Board of Directors or General Assembly) who decided to expel them in the first place
    The Honorary and Probationary Members lose their membership if expelled
    HWA members who were removed or expelled or voluntarily retired have no right over the property of the Association
    Members have the right to voluntarily retire from the Association. Τhe Board of Directors should be notified at least three months in advance, before the end of the accounting year .
